Columbus Catholic soccer whips Northland Lutheran

Dons now 7-0 in conference

KRONENWETTER — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team improved to 7-0 in the Mid-State Soccer Conference with an impressive 9-1 win over Northland Lutheran on Monday.

Nadim Torbey and Tyler Fuerlinger each hit for a hat trick for the Dons, including a goal just 1:12 into the game by Torbey.

Charles Payant, Evan Dieringer, and Tim Gruenloh also scored goals for Columbus (13-1 overall).

Jose Martin had two saves, and Bailey Keffer had one in goal for the Dons as they split time in net.

Columbus Catholic hosts Stevens Point Pacelli at 5 p.m. Thursday.
