Marshfield hosts sixth leg of Clover Valley girls golf tournament

Shah tops Tigers with 56

MARSHFIELD — Marshfield played host to the sixth leg of the Clover Valley Golf League tournament on Tuesday at Marshfield Country Club.

Marshfield’s Roma Shah shot a 56 to tie for 22nd, and Megan Vandehey had a 64 for tied for 28th.

Stevens Point won the team title with a score of 164, 25 shots better than second-place Stanley-Boyd. Osseo-Fairchild was third, just two strokes behind Stanley-Boyd.

Stevens Point’s Mary McDonald and Brook Tuszka tied for first place with 4-over-par 40s. Mallory Buetow of Point was just one shot behind.

The seventh leg of the tournament is at Eau Claire Country Club on Thursday and will be hosted by Eau Claire Regis/Altoona.
