Tigers move into sole possession of first place in Marawood Conference

PARK FALLS — Stratford’s win on Friday against Chequamegon, combined with a loss from Rib Lake/Prentice to Marathon, catapulted the Tigers into first place in the Marawood Conference football standings.
The Tigers routed Chequamegon 60-6 on Friday night, improving to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in the Marawood. Chequamegon is now 1-4 and 0-4 in the conference.
Stratford hosts Rib Lake/Prentice (4-1 overall and Marawood), which is tied with Edgar for second place in the conference, next Friday at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.
