MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team swept Neillsville 3-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division match on Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons won 25-13, 25-16, 25-16, beating Neillsville for the second time this season.

Kendra Baierl had 19 kills, Celine Scholin added 11 kills, Jennifer Reigel had 16 assists, and Natalie Pospyhalla had 15 assists for Columbus.

The Dons had 13 service aces in the win, and they are now 2-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Neillsville is now 1-1.

“We passed and dug well tonight, so we were able to run our offense,” Dons coach Kat Egle said.

Columbus will be off until Sept. 24 when it will participate at the Abbotsford Invitational.
