Featured MAPS pet of the week: Annie
By Vicki Riedel
MAPS Volunteer
Annie was most likely lost or abandoned and had to try and survive on her own for a length of time, and she came into the shelter very thin and weak. She was not very social due to the fact that she was deprived of food and human interaction, and she would eat her food very fast and then look for more, often growling at the hand that fed her.
Now she has gained back a good amount of weight and has realized that there will always be enough food for her. She has become very sweet and affectionate, and she would make a beautiful addition to any family.
