Spencer volleyball sweeps Westfield
Schober tops Rockets with nine kills

SPENCER — The Spencer volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 sweep of Westfield in a nonconference matchup Thursday night at Spencer High School.
Spencer won 25-8, 25-14, 25-17 to improve to 6-3 overall this season.
Sadie Mercier had 14 assists, and McKenzie Bainer had 10 from the setter position for the Rockets. Jenna Schober led the attackers with nine kills, and Liz Endreas and Johanna Ellefson each had six.
Jenna Rogers had 16 digs and three service aces, and Courtney Buss added 11 digs and three aces for Spencer.
“When the energy was up, we looked really good tonight,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “We did a nice job putting the pressure on them.”
Spencer will play a nonconference match at Mosinee on Tuesday.
