MARSHFIELD — Marshfield Clinic and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY) have a booth in the Expo building at the Central Wisconsin State Fair to provide education on efforts to reduce prescription drug abuse and heroin use in Marshfield.

MACY’s Drug Task Force will share materials and resources created for a community awareness campaign called “Held Hostage by Heroin.”

Visitors of all ages can participate in activities for a chance to win prizes, receive free popcorn, or can purchase pictures of local scenery taken by a Marshfield resident. Proceeds will benefit coalition efforts.

Anyone can participate in a survey to gauge the community’s perception of Marshfield’s prescription drug and heroin problem. To take the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/r/RxDrugsHeroin2016.
