Auburndale volleyball wins title at Green Bay East Invitational

Apaches finish 6-1 at tournament

GREEN BAY — The Auburndale volleyball team finished 6-1 to finish first at the Green Bay East Invitational on Saturday.

The Apaches defeated Green Bay East, Marinette, and Sheboygan Christian 2-0 and took care of Southern Door, Green Bay NEW Lutheran, and New London 2-1. Auburndale’s lone loss came 2-1 to Menasha.

Cindy Jensen led the offense with 67 kills, and setter Mackenzie Raab had 112 assists. Teryn Lau had 15 service aces and 31 digs, Rachael Bolder added 14 aces and 31 digs, and Brooke Anderson had a team-high 53 digs for the Apaches.

Auburndale hosts Pittsville in its Marawood Conference South Division opener Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
