MARSHFIELD — Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) will host its fifth annual Cold Noses Warm Hearts fundraising dinner on Sept. 30 at Hotel Marshfield.

“This event is one of my favorite fundraisers because we get to publicly acknowledge and thank all of our hard working volunteers who make all this possible every day,” said Karen Rau, MAPS president. “This event also allows us to showcase our many accomplishments and provides the opportunity for our supporters and community members to understand how their donations are making a difference in the lives of innocent animals.”

Rau added that the organization will share a recap of the past year, which involved much progress.

“This year we had the privilege of announcing our first staff member, our new shelter manager,” said Rau. “Also, we spent an entire year renovating our temporary home, and we are excited to begin our lifesaving work in a physical shelter.”

Tickets for the event are available at Wildwood Animal Hospital, Castlerock Veterinary Hospital, Marshfield Vet Service, the MAPS Adoption Center at Marshfield Mall, and online at www.MarshfieldPetShelter.org. Advance tickets are $30 per person or $240 for a reserved table of eight. Reservations must be made by Sept. 28.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a social hour and raffle ticket purchasing, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

For further information contact Karen Rau at 715-305-9812.
