Stanley-Boyd overwhelms Stratford football in season opener

Tigers host Marathon Friday

STANLEY — The Stratford football team dropped its season opener at Stanley-Boyd on Friday night, losing 35-7 in a nonconference game.

The Tigers open their home and Marawood Conference schedule next Friday at home against defending conference champion Marathon at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com.
