Dolores J. Klein, 1934-2016

Dolores J. Klein, 82, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with Rev. Eric Berns officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at Our Lady of Peace Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dolores was born on February 23, 1934 in Marshfield, the daughter of John and Mabel (VandenBergen) Poppy. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Klein on Sept. 12, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburndale. He died on Jan. 12, 1995.

Dolores had been employed at Normington Laundry in Marshfield for a number of years. She also had worked in the laundry department at St. Joseph’s Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed watching baseball and embroidery work.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, DuWayne “Duke” (Pat) Poppy, Sharon (Ivan) Fuerlinger, all of Marshfield; twins, John (Jeanne) Poppy of Weston and Joan (Robert) Lingford, of Marshfield; and David (Sue) Poppy of Marshfield. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents.
