MARSHFIELD — Jane McLamarrah and her husband, Michael Kohl, recently made a $110,000 gift to the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Foundation’s capital campaign to help build the campus’ new Everett Roehl STEM Center. Groundbreaking on the 17,000-square-foot, $5.6 million facility is set for later this summer.
Kohl is a former UW-Marshfield/Wood County student. He spent his career as an archivist working for colleges, universities, and historical institutions, including 30 years as a member of the faculty at Clemson University. McLamarrah is currently a vice president with MWH, a part of Stantec, Edmonton, Alberta, where she is a member of the firm’s Wet Weather National Practice team providing technical expertise on capacity, management, operations, and maintenance and wastewater master planning projects.
