MARSHFIELD — Marshfield Area Purple Angels is hosting an old-fashioned family picnic from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on July 6 at Braem Park in Marshfield. This event is part of a series of “memory cafes” for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, their caregivers, and families. The event is completely free and includes food, music, and bingo with prizes. Visit marshfieldpurpleangels.org/memory-cafe.php for more information.

The Marshfield Area Purple Angels is a new nonprofit organization serving the Marshfield area with a mission to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, provide support to people with dementia, their caregivers and families, and to help Marshfield become the next dementia friendly community in Wisconsin.
