Saint Joseph’s recognizes May Volunteens

MARSHFIELD — Each month volunteer services at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital acknowledges local teens for accomplishing milestone hours in a variety of service areas within the medical campus. The Volunteen Program offers opportunities for teens to gain exposure in medical care settings while optimizing operations and patient and family experiences.

Bailey Schmitt has donated more than 200 hours of service. Schmitt has volunteered with the House of the Dove, the emergency department, and the Coffee Café. She is a sophomore at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Stacey and Adam Schlafke and the late Eric Schmitt of Marshfield.Emily Merkel has donated more than 100 hours of service. Merkel has volunteered with the information desk and pediatrics unit. She is a freshman at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Kris Melaas Merkel and Keith Merkel of Marshfield.Erin Mader has donated more than 400 hours of service. Mader has volunteered with the House of the Dove. She is a senior at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Rob and Leslie Mader of Marshfield.Hannah Schreiner has donated more than 50 hours of service. Schreiner has volunteered with the nursing units. She is a senior at Loyal High School and is the daughter of Vicki and Brian Schreiner of Loyal.Kaitlyn Kulp has donated more than 100 hours of service. Kulp has volunteered with the magazine cart, birth center, and inpatient pharmacy. She is a freshman being homeschooled and is the daughter of Mike and Reyna Kulp of Stratford.Lauren Keating has donated more than 100 hours of service. Keating has volunteered with the pediatrics unit and the child care center. She is a freshman at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Cynthia and Kenyon Keating of Marshfield.Morgan Irish has donated more than 100 hours of service. Irish has volunteered with the emergency department and the critical care unit. She is a senior at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Jeff and Sandy Irish of Marshfield.Niall Ellias has donated more than 100 hours of service. Ellias has volunteered with the information desk. He is a sophomore at Marshfield Columbus Catholic High School and is the son of Yakub Ellias and Martha Foy of Marshfield.Nikita Gonugunta has donated more than 100 hours of service. Gonugunta has volunteered with the inpatient pharmacy. She is a freshman at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Vivek Gonugunta and Vijaya Nirujogi of Marshfield.Tia Gaulke has donated more than 50 hours of service. Gaulke has volunteered with the nursing units and the emergency department. She is a senior at Marshfield High School and is the daughter of Pam and Al Gaulke of Marshfield.
