MARSHFIELD — Columbus’ graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 28 at 10 a.m. in the Father Hugh J. Deeny Memorial Auditorium at Columbus Catholic High School. The procession will begin with the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. Prior to commencement, the alumni prayer service takes place at 9:20 a.m. in the chapel for Columbus Catholic High School alumni, parents, grandparents, and 2016 graduates.

The Baccalaureate Mass, celebrated by the Rev. Nathaniel Kuhn, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on May 25 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and will be followed by a graduation dinner and awards banquet at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marshfield.

This year’s valedictorian is Catherine Pinter, daughter of Gregory and Barbara Pinter. Catherine will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will major in premedicine.

The salutatorian is Niav O’Neill, daughter of Dermot and Linda O’Neill. Niav will attend Marquette University next fall and will major in biomedical health studies.
