The game was originally scheduled to be part of a doubleheader on Friday, but the second game was postponed by rain after Owen-Withee won the opener 8-5.

Columbus Catholic scored six times in the first inning and led 11-0 before the Blackhawks got it going.

Owen-Withee (8-6, 8-5 Cloverbelt East) scored a run in the fourth, nine in the fifth, and seven more in the sixth to pull away.

Kole Karaba and Ben Esterer each had three hits for Owen-Withee.
