WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Lexi Dupee hit a pair of home runs, and Rhiannon Corozolla added another long ball to pace the Marshfield softball team in a 13-3 victory over Wisconsin Rapids on Monday at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers smashed 17 hits, including four doubles and the three home runs.

Corozolla and Morgan Nordbeck each finished 3-for-4, Dupee had three RBIs and scored three times, Kaitlyn Konrardy had two hits and two RBIs, and Maddie Mews had two doubles and drove in two for the Tigers.

Megan Donahue was the winning pitcher, striking out seven and allowing just three hits for the Tigers, who are now 11-11 overall and 5-4 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Marshfield plays at D.C. Everest on Tuesday and wraps up its regular-season schedule with a home doubleheader against Wausau East on Thursday starting at 4 p.m.

Last weekend, the Tigers played at the Escanaba (Mich.) Invitational and went 1-2. Marshfield lost to Escanaba 9-1 on Friday and then split a pair Saturday with a win over Sault Saint Marie (Mich.) 7-6 and a loss to Marquette (Mich.) 6-4.

Dupee hit a pair of home runs in the win over Sault Saint Marie, and Emily Draeger and Jenna Jakobi each went deep as well for the Tigers. Konrardy earned the win on the mound, striking out seven.
