Summer Parks and Rec offerings

MARSHFIELD — The following are summer offerings from the Marshfield Parks & Recreation Department:

—Hefko Pool passes will be available at a discounted rate for purchase until May 19. Save $7 on a family pass, $3 on individual adult passes, and $2 on individual youth passes. As of May 20, regular rates will apply. Passes may be purchased in the Parks & Recreation office, 630 S. Central Avenue, Suite 201R, or online at ci.marshfield.wi.us. Click on “Departments,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Online Registration,” and then “Pool Passes.”

—The Marshfield Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Parks & Recreation Association (WPRA), is selling tickets to area attractions and theme parks at discounted rates throughout the summer. Pick up tickets Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation office. For a list of tickets and prices, visit ci.marshfield.wi.us, click on “Departments,” “Parks and Recreation,” and then “WPRA Ticket Prices.”

—Baseball Skills Camp for those going into grades four through seven in the fall will be held June 6-8 at Reeths Field from 1-4 p.m.

—Fall Soccer for children grades kindergarten through sixth will be held Sundays, Aug. 14 – Oct. 2 at Griese Park. The entry fee increases after July 7, and the registration deadline is July 17.

—Gymnastics for ages 3 ½ and up will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Marshfield High School from June 13-23.

—Skateboard lessons for ages 8 and up will be held at the Marshfield Skatepark on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from July 25 – Aug. 3.

—Take a trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Wednesday, Aug. 9. A coach bus will depart from Marshfield at 7:30 a.m. and return at 8 p.m.

—Tennis lessons for those ages 4 and up will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays June 13-29 or July 11-27. Evening lessons will be Mondays June 13 – July 25 or Wednesdays June 15 – July 27.

—Junior Basketball Camp for grades two through eight will be held July 11, 12, 14, and 15.

—Golf Camp for ages 9-15 will be held July 26-29 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Marshfield County Club. Lunches will be provided.

—Diggers Volleyball Camp, June 20-23, will have two sessions. Camp for grades four and five will run 12:30–2:30 p.m., and for grades six and seven it will be 2:45-4:45 p.m. June 13-15 will be an additional camp for grades eight and nine from 12:30-3:15 p.m. All will be held at the Oak Avenue Community Center.
