Marshfield sixth at Merrill Boys Golf Tournament
Tigers host WVC meet Tuesday

MERRILL — The Marshfield boys golf team competed at the Merrill Invitational on Saturday at Merrill Public Golf Course.
Marshfield had a pair of teams compete in the event, one taking sixth with a score of 365 and another that was ninth with a 390.
A Wausau East team won the meet with a 337, six shots ahead of Wausau West.
Marshfield’s two-man team of Derek Michalski and Grant Michaelis finished fourth in a best-ball competition with a score of 76.
Matt Tuman of Wausau East was the meet medalist, shooting a 72.
Marshfield will host the sixth leg of the Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament on Tuesday at RiverEdge Golf Course.
