Marshfield boys tennis loses at Wisconsin Rapids
Tigers fall to 2-2 in WVC

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Marshfield boys tennis team swept the three doubles matches but could not come up with a singles win and lost 4-3 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet Thursday at Lincoln High School.
All three Tigers doubles teams won in straight sets. Evan Fait and Derek Reckner did not lose a game at No. 1 doubles. Jared Draxler and Ayush Shukla at No. 2 and Isaac Houk and Luke Kaiser at No. 3 also won 2-0 for Marshfield (2-2 WVC).
Marshfield wraps up its regular-season dual meet schedule Tuesday at D.C. Everest. The Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament is May 19 at Wausau East and West high schools.
