POYNETTE — Kiana Weiler threw a five-inning no-hitter to lift the Stratford softball team to a 17-0 rout of Lodi in the opening game of the Poynette Softball Jamboree on Friday night.

Stratford scored 12 runs in the third inning to bust open the game and rolled to the win from there.

Weiler struck out five and did not walk a batter in the victory. Only one Lodi hitter, via an error, reached base.

Weiler added three hits and four RBIs, Lorrie Luepke had three hits and three RBIs, and Sammy Kaiser hit a home run and drove in three for the Tigers (11-3).
