MARSHFIELD — Beginning Monday, May 2, the Reading municipal parking lot next to the Marshfield Public Library will be unavailable since it will be reconstructed as part of the library and community center project. The nearby parking lots on Maple Avenue will remain open for library patrons’ use.
The parking lot closure is anticipated to last approximately four weeks. The library will be open at regular hours throughout the parking lot development.
The library’s after-hours book drop will also be unavailable for much of this time. The book drops inside the library are still operational, and staff will be waiting to assist visitors.
