Gilman rallies in seventh to top Columbus Catholic baseball

Dons host Loyal on Monday

GILMAN — Gilman scored three times in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Marshfield Columbus Catholic 4-3 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Friday.
Columbus Catholic (3-5, 3-4 Cloverbelt East) scored single runs in the first, third, and fifth innings to take a 3-0 lead before Gilman (2-5 overall and Cloverbelt East) rallied.
The Pirates scored once in the sixth and piled up three in the seventh, scoring the winning run with two outs.
Tyler Fuerlinger and Bryce Fuerlinger each had two hits for the Dons.
Columbus’ next game in Monday at home against Loyal.
