WAUSAU — Megan Donahue hit a pair of home runs and struck out 14 Warrior batters to lift the Marshfield softball team to a 9-4 victory over Wausau West on Thursday.

Donahue finished 3-for-3, scored three times, and drove in five runs for the Tigers, who improve to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. West drops to 2-6 and 1-5 in the conference.

Marshfield had nine hits in all, including a two by Lexi Dupee.

Donahue earned the win with a complete-game effort. Two of the four runs she allowed were unearned.

Marshfield plays a nonconference game at Mosinee on Friday.
