The following is a press release from Hotel Marshfield

We continue to work side-by-side with the health department and appreciate their diligence. As you can imagine, no one is more eager than us to learn how this was brought into the property, and the health department continues to look at various possible scenarios.

What I can tell you is this: No employees were ill prior to the event. As the health department has stated so positively in its updates, we have a demonstrated track record of very high kitchen and operations standards. Our No. 1 priority is always guest and employee safety. We have continued to host events, both large and small, and the community has been incredibly supportive.

Reiterating the health department’s update, we were glad to know that no one was hospitalized and that everyone recovered to full health quickly. The team here sends good thoughts to those who were ill.
