Marshfield girls soccer shut out at Wisconsin Rapids
Tigers manage just two shots on goal

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Marshfield girls soccer team was shut out for the fifth time this season, losing 3-0 at Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday night.
The Tigers fall to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Wisconsin Rapids is now 5-1 and 3-1 in the Valley.
Kaitlyn Schuenemann and Kaitlyn Hess scored in the first half for the Raiders, and Hess scored again midway through the second half.
Andrea Carolfi made 13 saves in goal for the Tigers, who only had two shots on goal in the game.
Marshfield hosts Merrill on Tuesday and D.C. Everest on Thursday in a pair of WVC games next week. Both games start at 4:30 p.m. at Griese Park.
