FOMPL readies for Spring Fling Used Book Sale

MARSHFIELD — The Friends of the Marshfield Public Library (FOMPL) recently announced it will host its second annual Spring Fling Used Book Sale. The sale will run from April 29 through May 1 and be held in the Beebee Forum Room in the lower level of the library. This sale will be in addition to FOMPL’s regular September sale.
The hours for the sale are as follows:
—Friday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
—Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
—Sunday, May 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Books will be sold individually for 50 cents per book or by the bag. A bag will sell for $5 on Friday, $4 on Saturday, and $3 on Sunday. There will be a large selection of paperback and hardcover books for both children and adults. In addition, the library will be selling a wide assortment of gently used furniture and equipment.
Marshfield residents and people from surrounding communities are welcome to shop the over 10,000-book collection.
All proceeds from the book sale will be used for promoting library programs such as children’s and adult forums, Born to Read, Timeless Tales, Give a Kid a Book, and purchasing needed items throughout the library.
