Marshfield boys golf second at Wisconsin Rapids Quad

Michaelis leads Tigers with an 86

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — All five Marshfield golfers shot between 86 and 90 as the Tigers finished second at the Wisconsin Rapids Boys Golf Quad on Tuesday at The Ridges Golf Course.

Grant Michaelis led the Tigers with an 86 as Marshfield had a team score of 350, which was second behind meet champion Stevens Point’s 316.

Derek Michalski added an 87, Zach Hanson had an 88, Joe Kirschnik fired an 89, and Brendan Schneider had a 90 for Marshfield.

Max Bancker of Stevens Point was the meet medalist with a 74.
