WISCONSIN DELLS — The Marshfield softball team earned a pair of impressive victories on Saturday, beating Eau Claire Memorial 7-1 and Stoughton 5-1 at the Woodside Sports Complex.

The Tigers are now 3-2 this season and are scheduled to play at Stevens Point on Tuesday in what would be their Wisconsin Valley Conference opener.

In the win over Memorial, sophomore pitcher Megan Donahue scattered six hits and two walks while allowing just the one run. She struck out 14 and also added an RBI for the Tigers.

Emily Draeger went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, Jenna Jakobi had a pair of doubles and scored twice, and Kaitlyn Konrardy also had a pair of hits and two RBIs for Marshfield.

Donahue was also strong on the mound in the win over Stoughton, limiting the Vikings to three hits while striking out nine. She added a single and a double at the plate.

Melissa Roberts and Draeger each had a pair of hits in the victory.
