WISCONSIN DELLS — Derek Michalski shot an 84 to lead the Marshfield boys golf team to a 15th-place finish at the Wisconsin Dells Boys Golf Invitational on Saturday at Trappers Turn Golf Club.

The tournament was scheduled to be a two-day event, but Friday’s portion was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Grant Michaelis and Brendan Schneider each added 89s, Joe Kirschnik had a 90, and Zach Hanson shot a 91 for the Tigers, who finished with a team score of 352 to take 15th out of the 17 teams that competed.

White Bear Lake (Minn.), the defending Minnesota state champions, won the tournament with a score of 306, two strokes ahead of Middleton.
