By Paul Lecker

Sports Reporter

TOMAH — Marshfield senior Olivia Haessly hit for a hat trick, but it was not enough as the Tigers girls soccer team dropped a 6-3 decision to Tomah on Thursday.

Jamie Gaarder scored five goals, and Ashley Kemp added another for Tomah in the win.

Kendra Tremelling and Maddie Haessly each had assists on two of Olivia Haessly’s goals.

Andrea Carolfi had four saves in goal for the Tigers, who are now 0-2.

Marshfield will compete at the Urbana (Ill.) Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
