Stratford girls basketball wins Marawood crossover against Prentice
Frueh tops Tigers (16-6) with 26 points

STRATFORD — Stratford made nine of 10 free throw attempts in the second half to hold off Prentice 52-38 in the fourth-place game of the Marawood Conference North-South Crossovers on Friday night at Stratford High School.
Macie Frueh scored a season-high 26 points for Stratford (16-6), making seven of eight free throws, including four in a row in the second half.
Sammy Griesbach added 10 points for the Tigers, who ended up 14 of 16 overall at the line.
Stratford will play the winner of Tuesday’s Crivitz-Crandon game in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal on Friday, Feb. 26 at Stratford High School.
