Eau Claire North blanks Marshfield in WIAA boys hockey regional final
Tigers’ season ends with 6-17-1 record

EAU CLAIRE — The Marshfield boys hockey team’s season came to an end Thursday with a 7-0 loss to Eau Claire North in a WIAA regional final at Hobbs Ice Arena.
Zac Stange scored 2:29 into the game and added another goal in the second period for the Huskies (16-8), who advance to a sectional semifinal at home against Hayward on Tuesday.
Marshfield was outshot 68-16 as North dominated the puck. Haydon Roy-Peterson had 61 saves in goal for the Tigers, who end the season with a 6-17-1 record.
