STRATFORD — Five Stratford players scored in double figures, and the Tigers made eight 3-pointers in a 76-29 rout of Chequamegon in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

Ethan Nagel had four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers, who improve to 10-9 this season.

Derrick Schmidt added 17 points and 11 rebounds, Jacob Danen had a season-high 16 points, Brenden Fecker had three 3-pointers and 13 points, and Cole Hoffman notched 10 points for Stratford.

The Tigers outscored Chequamegon 40-15 in a resounding first-half performance that put the game away early.

Stratford plays its Marawood Conference South Division finale Thursday at Northland Lutheran.
