GREENWOOD — The Spencer girls basketball team finished its Cloverbelt Conference East Division schedule with a flurry on Monday, rolling past Greenwood 64-46 at Greenwood High School.

The Rockets doubled up Greenwood in the first half, taking a 34-17 lead, and held on in the second half.

Spencer (12-9, 9-7 Cloverbelt East) held Greenwood (3-18, 2-14 Cloverbelt East) to 32 percent shooting (19 of 60) and outscored the Indians by 15 points from 3-point range and another five at the free throw line.

Spencer sophomore Lexi Baehr continued her late-season surge with 21 points, making 7 of 10 shots from the field and 3 of 4 from 3-point range. Sydney Kind added 16 points, and Macie Weber had 10 for the Rockets.

Spencer will play in the Cloverbelt Crossover fifth-place game at Thorp on Thursday.
