Fehrenbach’s 25 points lift Marshfield girls basketball past Wisconsin Rapids

Tigers now 11-0 in Wisconsin Valley Conference

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Wisconsin Valley Conference champion Marshfield girls basketball team rolled to its 11th-straight victory in conference play with a 60-44 victory over Wisconsin Rapids on Monday night at Lincoln High School.

Junior Ema Fehrenbach was a terror inside for the Tigers, making 12 of 14 shots from the field and finishing with 25 points.

Hannah Meverden added 11 points and 15 rebounds, and McKayla Scheuer had 11 points and six assists for Marshfield, which is now 19-2 overall and 11-0 in the WVC.

Marshfield finishes its regular-season schedule Thursday at home against Wausau East.
