Stratford boys basketball drops home game to Pittsville
Tigers now 5-5 in Marawood South

STRATFORD — Stratford was held to 32 percent shooting and just 18 second-half points as it fell to Pittsville 57-39 in a Marawood Conference South Division boys basketball game Tuesday night at Stratford High School.
Pittsville (12-7, 7-4 Marawood South) led 26-21 at halftime and built on its lead in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 31-18.
Nick Stoflet and Ethan Nagel each hit three 3-pointers to score nine points each to lead Stratford (9-8, 5-5 Marawood South).
Pittsville statistics were not provided.
The Tigers play at Marathon on Friday.
