MARSHFIELD — Five different D.C. Everest players scored as the Evergreens blanked Marshfield 5-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Tuesday night at the Marshfield Youth Ice Arena.
Seth Jaglinski scored 11 minutes into the game for the Evergreens, and that proved to be the game-winner as Marshfield only managed eight shots in goal, all of which were saved by Michael Janke.
Ty Tretter had a goal and two assists, Brendan Hoover had a goal and an assist, and Matthew Janke had two assists for the Evergreens (9-12, 5-5 Wisconsin Valley Conference).
Marshfield is now 1-9 in the WVC and 5-15-1 overall after playing its final home game. The Tigers are at Wausau East on Thursday and at Stevens Point Pacelli on Saturday to finish their regular-season schedule. Marshfield plays at Eau Claire North in a WIAA regional final on Feb. 18.
