Haugen wins three events, all-around as Marshfield gymnasts win Tomah Quad

TOMAH — Emma Haugen posted her first scores above 9 in the floor exercise and vault as she went on to win the all-around for the Marshfield gymnastics team at a quadrangular meet at Tomah on Monday.

Marshfield won the meet with 127.475 points, 14.1 better than Tomah.

Haugen won the floor with a score of 9.05, the uneven bars with a score of 7.575, and the vault with a score of 9.0 on her way to the all-around win with 33.0 points.

Isabelle Jensen was second in the vault (8.85) and third in the beam (7.625) and bars (7.3) to finish second in the all-around (32.025), and teammate Melanie Hafenbredl was third in the all-around (31.775) after taking second in the beam (7.65) and bars (7.55) for Marshfield.

Marshfield won all four events, and Bailey Schmitt was the all-around winner for the Tigers’ JV.

Marshfield will compete in the Great Northern Conference Meet at home on Feb. 20.
