Kind scores 30 points as Spencer girls basketball wins big over Granton

Rockets now 7-7 this season

SPENCER — The Spencer girls basketball team dominated from start to finish Tuesday, routing Granton 74-25 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Spencer High School.
Spencer, which had lost four of five games coming in, crawls back to the .500 mark for the season at 7-7 (6-5 in Cloverbelt East). Granton is still winless at 0-14 overall and 0-11 in the conference.
The Rockets ran out to a 53-14 lead by halftime with their highest-scoring half of the season.
Sydney Kind had a career-high 30 points for Spencer, making 10 of 15 shots from the field and all seven of her 3-point attempts. Lexi Baehr added 11 points and Courtney Buss had 10 for the Rockets.
Spencer is at Columbus Catholic on Friday.
