Rhinelander tops Marshfield boys hockey in overtime

Tigers fall to 4-12-1

MARSHFIELD — Freddie Wisner scored 3:43 into overtime to lift Rhinelander to a 2-1 victory over Marshfield in a nonconference boys hockey game Frirday night at the Marshfield Youth Ice Arena.
Marshfield’s Isaiah Baierl scored 6:15 into the third period to tie the score at 1-1 and force overtime before Wisner’s game-winner ended it.
Haydon Roy-Peterson had 28 saves in goal for Marshfield (4-12-1).
The Tigers’ next game is Tuesday at Stevens Point.
