MARSHFIELD — The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin will be offering a Living Well with Chronic Conditions workshop series beginning Monday, Feb. 1, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. A second, similar workshop titled Healthy Living with Diabetes will begin on Monday, March 21, at Christ Lutheran Church.

People with chronic conditions deal with many symptoms: pain, fatigue, sleeplessness, isolation, depression, anger, frustration, and the overall feeling of not being able to do what they used to do. Battling these symptoms every day can make people feel like their life and health are out of their hands.

The good news is that chronic conditions and their symptoms can be managed. Living Well with Chronic Conditions and Healthy Living with Diabetes are both six-week workshops to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

—Living Well with Chronic Conditions: Mondays, Feb. 1 – March 7, 1-3:30 p.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 502 W. McMillan St.

—Healthy Living with Diabetes: Mondays, March 21 – April 25, 12:30-3 p.m., at Christ Lutheran Church, 1208 W. 14th St.

A one-time contribution of $10 is suggested but not required. Call Ciara at the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin to register or for more information at 1-888-486-9545.
