UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball falters at UW-Marinette

Marauders score season-low 24 points

MARINETTE — The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team was held to a season-low 24 points and dropped a 50-24 decision at UW-Marinette on Monday night.

The Marauders (7-3) fell behind 17-2 after the first quarter and never recovered against first-place Marinette, which is now 11-0 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.

Hayley Bunnell had seven points and 10 rebounds for UW-Marshfield.

The Marauders next game is Wednesday at home against UW-Manitowoc.
