MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has opened a process to apply for a tourism grant with each application eligible for up to $1,000 in funding.

The Marshfield CVB awarded $7,000 in total to 11 local and regional organizations that promote tourism in the Marshfield area in 2015. Grants were awarded to a wide range of groups, including sports tournaments, local arts organizations, attractions, and events that brought visitors to the area and created overnight stays in Marshfield hotels.

The Marshfield CVB’s mission is to market Marshfield as a destination to attract visitors, encourage overnight stays at local lodging establishments, and create local economic activity.

To receive an application, please call 715-384-4314, email info@visitmarshfield.com, or go to visitmarshfield.com and look for the grant application banner ad on the main page. All applications are due by Jan. 29, 2016.
