Auburndale girls basketball crushes Nekoosa
Richardson, Gotz combine for 40 points

NEKOOSA — Paiton Richardson scored 21 points, and Taylor Gotz added 19 as the Auburndale girls basketball team dominated inside to beat Nekoosa 55-28 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Nekoosa High School.
The Apaches (8-2) raced out to a 29-10 lead by halftime and cruised from there.
Nekoosa falls to 3-9.
Auburndale’s next game is Thursday at home against Wausau Newman Catholic.
