Auburndale boys basketball beats Northland Lutheran for first Marawood South win

AUBURNDALE — Christian Firnstahl scored 13 points and had seven rebounds to lift the Auburndale boys basketball team to a 58-30 rout of Northland Lutheran on Tuesday at Auburndale High School.

Firnstahl was 6 of 7 from the field for the Apaches, who shot a respectable 24 of 52 from the field and made seven 3-pointers in the win, their first in the Marawood South this season.

Caleb Weinfurter and Luke Olsen each drilled three shots from long range for Auburndale (3-6, 1-4 Marawood Conference South Division).

Auburndale hosts Wausau Newman Catholic on Friday night at 7:15 p.m.
