No foul play suspected in death of Brighton hunter

BRIGHTON — Authorities continue to investigate the death of 50-year-old Mark Bychinski, who was found in the woods near the 900 block of Century Road in the town of Brighton with a gunshot wound to the chest on around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29.
Bychinski was hunting, according to an earlier release from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.
“Marathon County Sheriff’s Investigators and the Medical Examiner’s Office continue to conduct a full investigation in an attempt to determine the manner of death. An autopsy was performed on Nov. 30, 2015, in Madison. The initial results of the investigation and autopsy are only part of the investigation, and at this time no foul play is suspected,” said a release from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
