Marshfield boys hockey blanked by Chippewa Falls in season opener
Tigers back in action again Friday at Tomah

CHIPPEWA FALLS — Chippewa Falls scored three times in the first 17 minutes and went on to shut out Marshfield 6-0 in a nonconference boys hockey game on Tuesday.
The game was the season opener for both teams.
Jordan Steinmetz scored three goals and added two assists, and Logan Steinmetz scored twice and had an assist for the Cardinals.
Marshfield was outshot 35-17. Goalie Haydon Roy-Peterson saved 29 shots for the Tigers.
Marshfield’s next game is Friday at Tomah.
