Auburndale volleyball knocks off Pacelli in WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal
Apaches play at Loyal/Granton on Thursday in regional semifinal

AUBURNDALE — Auburndale got off to a slow start but rallied to take down Stevens Point Pacelli 3-1 in a WIAA Division 3 volleyball regional quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches won 21-25, 25-16, 27-25, 25-9 to advance to a regional semifinal Thursday at Loyal/Granton. The match, at Loyal High School, will begin at 7 p.m. Loyal/Granton took care of Tri-County 3-0 on Tuesday in its playoff opener.
Sydney Schmutzer had 13 kills, 11 digs, and 24 assists; Robyn Brokish had 10 kills and 12 digs; and Taylor Gotz added seven kills for the Apaches.
