Marshfield volleyball whips SPASH, finishes regular season on 10-match win streak

Rhodes has 10 kills and six digs for Tigers

STEVENS POINT — The Marshfield volleyball team finished the Wisconsin Valley Conference season with its 10th-straight victory in conference play as it beat Stevens Point 3-0 on Thursday night at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
The Tigers won 25-15, 25-14, 25-18 to finish the WVC season with a 10-2 record. SPASH ends up 5-7.
Stephanie Rhodes had 10 kills and six digs, Anna Ripp had 18 assists, and Sara Dasler had six digs for the Tigers (31-8 overall).
Alexa Aumann had four blocks, Maureen Cassidy had a team-high six service aces, and Ema Fehrenbach added seven kills for Marshfield.
Marshfield will open postseason play with a WIAA Division 1 regional final at home on Saturday, Oct. 24, against either Wausau West or New Richmond.
